Paula Buonfiglio, el Dr. Carlos David Bruque, la Dra. Belen Elgoyhen y la Dra. Viviana Dalamon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el mismo, se realizaron estudios gen\u00e9ticos de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n (Secuenciaci\u00f3n Ex\u00f3mica Masiva) en una gran cohorte de pacientes argentinos con p\u00e9rdida auditiva hereditaria, identificando variantes gen\u00e9ticas nuevas, as\u00ed como un exhaustivo an\u00e1lisis sobre estructuras proteicas involucradas en la fisiopatolog\u00eda auditiva para poder predecir el impacto de esas mismas mutaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De esta manera, los equipos de la UCT-HP comienzan a posicionar al Hospital SAMIC de El Calafate y a la Provincia de Santa Cruz en el campo del conocimiento traslacional, trabajando en conjunto con los profesionales de la salud para brindar respuesta a la comunidad, en este caso, relacionado a las enfermedades poco frecuentes para mejorar el diagn\u00f3stico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el apoyo del Ministerio de Salud de la Naci\u00f3n, la Agencia Nacional de Promoci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica y Tecnol\u00f3gica y el Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda, dentro del contexto de un plan nacional de investigaci\u00f3n traslacional en salud para los hospitales, la UCT-HP, comienza a generar avances cient\u00edficos en el contexto de una pol\u00edtica sanitaria federal y de calidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los objetivos de las UCTHs son articular la capacitaci\u00f3n, producci\u00f3n de conocimientos e implementaci\u00f3n de resultados basados en evidencias, con el fin de canalizar e institucionalizar los proyectos y actividades cient\u00edfico-t\u00e9cnicas que se correspondan con este campo del conocimiento en salud
